“…all this was for you sweetheart. I never wanted you to pass through this. I now release and set you free. Go look for someone, someone who you can start a family with. I love you Jake.” The letter read.

Jake was still in shock. He never knew what this letter actually meant. Perplexed to the ground, Mercy walked in,” hey Jake… Won’t you come and give your elder sister a hug?” Jake never responded at all.

Mercy wondered what was happening as Jake was so was hyped up for her arrival. They hadn’t seen each other for almost five years. Silence filled the room and one could feel the emptiness. Mercy walked and snatched the letter off Jake's hands and began to read. “What is the meaning of this Jake?” Asked Mercy. She staggered around and went to sit on the brown leather sofa.

Marion and Jake were getting married, or at least it was to happen on the following week. What Jake and Mercy wondered is what that letter meant. “What did she not want me to pass through? What is that she thought I couldn’t handle?” Jake finally broke the silence. Together with his sister, they decided to report the issue to the authorities since they never knew where Marion actually was.
