STEP UP.AVOID TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS

Hello beautiful people. Welcome back to my blog. So today I’ll be focusing on a matter that arose a while ago, toxic relationships. Episode 2 of SHATTERED HEARTS will be released later on. I welcome you all.

To be in a relationship is almost everyone’s desire especially in universities. I said almost because there is that small percentage that prefer being single, which is quite healthy. Now, the problem isn’t being in a relationship, no. The problem comes in after asking yourself one simple question, IS THE RELATIONSHIP WORTHY OR NOT? It is so sad to be in a relationship and yet someone’s slave or punching bag. Yes, what’s the point of being in a relationship where you are mistreated or treated like dirt? That is a toxic relationship.
A lot has occurred over the past years. Sad news where university students kill each other in relationships. I mean, is this love? Love is one strong bond that brings people into a relationship. If this is the matter, why all these fights and murders all around? Why murder someone’s child over an issue you would have resolved? There is this university student, a lady, who was killed by her boyfriend and she was almost completing her medical studies (https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2001320249/medical-student-hacked-to-death-outside-mtrh-eldoret).Such a waste, investing in your son or daughter so that one jealous soul can come and end their life
A lot can be done to stop this. One is talking. For a healthy relationship to be, there MUST be communication. You have to talk to your partner, express your feelings and thoughts. That will satisfy the doubts you might be having. Trust is another thing. Before dating someone, build trust first. It takes time to trust a person. So before jumping into relationships, build trust and understand each other. These two steps will help a lot. Trust and communication. So let us avoid these toxic relationships. If you really love a person, you wouldn’t dare lay a finger on them or watch them suffer. If you are mistreated, you can report and seek help. So step up and avoid toxic relationships.
